November 1, 2015

The boys and girls division age 11-12 was a clean sweep for the Elite Team in the JGAA Fall Classic this year. Brayden Bozak and Sneha Yadav both took home medalist honors with Anawin Pikulthong sealing the runner up spot. Most impressive, however, was how they did it. Brayden and Anawin were tied for the lead at the midway point shooting even par 61’s at Augusta Ranch Golf Club taking a four shot lead over third place. On day 2, both shot under par scores of 58 and 60. Brayden narrowly beat out Anawin by two shots for the victory but Anawin beat out third place by an impressive 9 shots. In the girls division, Sneha came from behind to win by one in regulation by shooting the low round of the tournament in her age division. She trailed first place by 3 shots heading into Sunday but shot a lights out 62 to seal the victory in regulation.

Other Elite notables include Barrett Bowers who improved his first round score by 7 shooting 68 on day two and Damon Vilkauskas who fires two impressive rounds of 78-77 for 8th place at Kokopelli GC just down the street.
