Golf is so important to me because of the feelings it gives me. There is nothing better than arriving to a tournament in the morning when the sun is rising, the air is cool, and the grass is perfectly cut. Walking onto the driving range and seeing various high school teams’ labeled in all of the range bays inspires me to perform at my best. I love the feeling I get on the first tee box.I love it because of the nervous/excited feeling that overwhelms me. I cherish all of this and I experience these emotions because of my passion. My passion is golf and I enjoy succeeding at it. During my training over the summer helped me realize that the door to the next step of the process is open and that fuels my work ethic. The step, for now, is to succeed during my freshman and sophomore year of high school. From there I cannot wait for the opportunity during my junior and senior seasons to show college recruiters who Brooke Beyer is. I have implemented a simple system to help me reach my goals.Know your dream, work for your dream, reach your dream. I know my dream is to earn a golf scholarship to Stanford University. Over the next few years I will train both in the classroom and on the course to reach my goals and accomplish my dreams.
